Dintero End-Customer Terms

Dintero is responsible for the personal data processed about you who pay with Dintero Checkout or use other Dintero services. By completing the purchase, you accept the Dintero Terms of Use. Terms of use are an agreement between Dintero AS, ("Dintero," "we" or "us") and you, the user of Dintero ("you"). You confirm that the information you provide is correct and your own, and that you can enter into agreements unhindered and without the guardian, trustee or other person's approval. If you use the Service on behalf of a legal entity, you must also guarantee that you have the authority to enter into this agreement, and thereby accept the Terms of Use in full on behalf of the legal entity. To use Dintero, you must be at least 15 years old.

Dintero

Dintero makes payment easier for merchants to charge users like you. Dintero also makes it easier for you to store credit cards and debit cards ("Payment Data") with Dintero, which enables you to pay across merchants who want to offer this functionality, ("Remember me"). By choosing payment as invoice, installments, account payment, you agree that a credit assessment can be made of you and that all correspondence can be sent electronically. You further agree that the bank may store your personal information in accordance with the bank's license from the Norwegian Data Protection Authority and the provisions of the Personal Data Act.

Information that is processed about you

Personal information and contact information that you provide: Name, date of birth, social security number, address, invoice address, delivery address, e-mail address, mobile number, income, debt, etc.

Payment information: Credit card and debit card information, account number, invoice information.

Purchase data: Details of what you are shopping for and what you have shopped in the past.

Device information: IP address, language settings, browser settings, operating system, platform and screen resolution.

Use of "Remember me"

When you pay with Dintero at merchants who have chosen to use the Remember Me functionality, we will ask you if you want to create and store a user profile. When you choose to use the Remember Me functionality, we ask you to store information that makes it possible to identify you, such as password, e-mail address, mobile number ("Dintero user account") and Payment data.

You can log in to my.dintero.com to see an overview of your purchases and your profile information.

The purpose

The purpose of processing information is to provide a better customer experience, manage the customer relationship, prevent misuse or misuse of the payment service, conduct risk analysis, for marketing purposes and to meet legal requirements.

Cookies

Dintero uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is sent from the Dintero web server and stored by your browser to give you access to various functions. Dintero uses cookies e.g. to tailor Dintero services to you, and for internal analysis of how our site is used. Cookies cannot harm your computer.

Data sharing

Dintero may transfer information about you to our suppliers and subcontractors in order to process and complete payments. Dintero may also share certain information with the services using Dintero you visit or purchase from. This is so that the services using Dintero can handle and manage the purchase and the relationship with you, send goods, manage disputes and profile its customers based on information.

Where do we store data

We always try to process your information within the EU / EEA. However, in some situations the information can be transferred to, and processed in, a destination outside the EU / EEA.

Right of access, deletion, correction and appeal

You can contact us to access, correct, or delete information about you.

Applicable law

In addition to what follows from these Terms of Use, or the Consumer Act, Dintero is not liable for damages that are directly or indirectly caused by the use of Dintero. Norwegian law and any disputes shall be dealt with by the courts.
